Lean meats like lean beef, pork, skinless chicken and turkey are filled with nutrients like B vitamins (niacin, thiamin, riboflavin and B6), which help the body’s metabolism, aid in red blood cell formation and play a vital role in our nervous system and may even help in conditions like insomnia and depression. Iron, found particularly in red meat, helps carry oxygen through the bloodstream.
Citrus fruits
Our body uses  glucose and oxygen to produce energy. Citrus fruits contain a variety of sugars, including glucose, fructose and sucrose. Citrus fruits also contain important levels of vitamin C, which maintain the well being of the immune system, ward off the negative effects of free radicals, and play an important part in the regeneration of tissues.

Green tea has a high concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. Antioxidants help combat free radicals. Green tea can boost your energy levels, thanks to the caffeine that is naturally found in this tea. Green tea can help in weight management, because it increases energy expenditure and fat oxidation.
