Dinner
Poached salmon with fresh herb salad
Salmon is a highly nutritious food, that has to be incorporated in a diet, and consumed regularly.  This fish is high in omega 3 fatty acids, that have a protective effect against heart disease, diabetes, some types of cancers and arthritis.  Recent studies have shown that people with adequate levels of omega 3 fatty acids have a slimmer chance of developing cognitive problems such as Alzheimer’s disease and age-related cognitive decline. Also people who have sufficient levels of omega-3’s seem to have less depression and suicide risk. Pair your poached salmon with a fresh herb salad to add texture and crunchiness to this dish, making it one of the most healthiest and fresh lunch options available.
